Yes, she's impressive. I don't mind the big butt -- the bigger the butt, the higher rank she is, in my opinion. If so, I'd love to see the Empress!

Correct. She's the daughter of a queen, so she's was generally in line to be the next egg layer. Although An's recent design her butt ain't as big. Eventually I'll make a pic of her mom, and she shall put all the other spider butts to shame! hehe

Oh, please do! I'd love to see her mom. I imagine her Queen mother to be close to An in appearance except for the radically enlarged size of her abdomen (butt). And I suppose the Queen would be rather more imperious and short-tempered in attitude.

Truthfully, I wish you the best of cleverness in showing Her Arachnoid Majesty. The ratio between abdomen and cephalothorax in some female spiders can be almost undepictable -- the abdomen can be so large as to engulf the entire background if the cephalothorax is shown in any detail. The only more extreme ratio is probably that between the gaster and the head and thorax of a mature tropical termite queen.

I imagine her abdomen would look heart-shaped from above and behind. She's cute, despite all the cutting edges she is wearing
